This Baroque period-instrument ensemble is playing a benefit for Jewish Family Services, and The Washtenaw Interfaith Center For Immigrant Rights.
The jazz vocalist will perform with a pianist and a bass player.
The short films are One Week (from 1920), The Playhouse (from 1921), and The Electric House (from 1922).
The group features guitar, bass, drums, and multi-lingual vocals.
Three speakers will give informal talks. Topics include how bats contribute to a healthy ecosystem, an examination of Wikipedia, and how digital language can be used to build empathy.
