The Cuban-born pianist is the son of Chucho Valdés. His music draws on styles including Afro-Cuban, Latin Jazz, bebop, and danzon (dahn-ZOHN). There's also a 9pm ticketed show.
The play will feature live music. A local improv team will open the show.
This performance will include a live sound bath, electronics, and organ.
